Tacoma Narrows (played by Malcolm Ray) is one of the supporting characters of Demo Reel. He is an up-and-coming writer who takes his scripts very seriously, but they are constantly changed by Donnie DuPre's direction. Tacoma also performs various roles in each Demo Reel film, much like Donnie and Rebecca (In The Dark Knight Begins Rising alone, he plays Alfred, Harvey Dent, the Joker, and Bane).

Before joining Demo Reel, Tacoma used to be an investigative journalist. He even won a Pulitizer right out of college and exposed a big Ponzi scheme (being run by his father). He recently started using his journalism experience to find out more about Donnie. After some research, Tacoma discovers that Donnie DuPre does not exist, and that the man he has been working for was in fact vanished child actor Jimmy Boyd.

He finds that Jimmy disappeared after the failure of Jingle Sells, which was also contributed by his mother's recent suicide. Deciding to make it up to him, he and Rebecca Stone decide to make a sequel to Jimmy's mother's film Blue Patches. Utilizing a large amount of alcohol, Tacoma writes a screenplay and plays Rebecca's love interest in the film. Reviewing what they made, Demo Reel realizes that they can indeed make a good movie, as long as they consume a large amount of whiskey.

In The Review Must Go On, it is revealed that the Demo Reel world is in fact a purgatory for the Nostalgia Critic character where he must atone for a lifetime of harsh criticisms. It's therefore possible that Tacoma represents the often faceless screenwriters who get used by the Hollywood system to make the kind of movies the Critic reviewed.
