Spine Breakers is a podcast created by Coldguy featuring JewWario and Rabbi. In the show, they discuss books, review them and talk about any issue concerning literature. The tone for the series is very relaxing as the three discuss matters concerning books. Usually, they have segments where one of them describes a book they've read recently, and the other two ask questions about the plot and characters. The series debuted on TGWTG.com on August 6th, 2009. Each episode is edited by wiki team member, Welshy.
Origins
- 1. Where did it come from? Coldguy came up with the idea for this podcast in March 2009 and always wanted a podcast for the site. He discussed it with others.
- 2. The original third person was going to be The Dork With No Name, a blogger famous for "Books in Five Lines".
- 3. Pilot #2 had JewWario.
JewWario's Jukebox
Much like the Paw's button on Transmission Awesome, JewWario's jukebox is a segment using a tune he himself picks out for people to listen to. The style of the segment is that of a 1940s news broadcaster. Also, in the Jukebox excerpts of stories are read for all to enjoy.
On the Top
In this segment, Coldguy reviews a book and people have to guess the name of the book he's reviewing. Usually, it's either the co-host or people in the chat live as they record.
News Prints
The team reports on the news in books and literature after scouring the Internet and find interesting stories to share.
Editorial of the Month
They choose a blog on [{TGWTG.com]] that's about books and literature.
