Quinn Larios (born Chris Larios), aka RolloT and formerly LordVonQuack is the creator and main host of Transmission Awesome and many others, as well as a stand-up comedian on some occasions.
ThatGuyWithTheGlasses
Quinn found ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com on a One Piece fan forum known as Arlong Park. A discussion thread linked her to the site, which Rollo got involved in. Soon enough, she started writing two series on the forum under the username LordVonQuack. "Worth a Look" was a promo article to promote a lesser-known item that all should witness to encourage interest. "Just for Laughs" was a review of comedy movies designed to tell you if the movie was funny and if you would enjoy it as opposed to the norm of "giving a subjective material a score or grade". LordVonQuack was entered into the Best of Blogs during its first incarnation and won the article writer portion to become one of two featured bloggers from the contest alongside Coldguy. Soon after becoming featured, Quinn dropped the name LordVonQuack in favor of the more serious "RolloT" and soon dropped "Worth a Look" and "Just for Laughs", though she claims "Just for Laughs" will return.
Her new writing focused on character playing, starting with Hollywood Genocide, supposedly written by Terry Ash, an overzealous gossip columnist whose appetite for the media only comes from the deformation of people's careers and lives. The articles are comedy oriented and are a satire of the current generation's focus on the entertainment world and its popularity.
RolloT, alongside HopeWithinChaos and Coldguy, was invited to join ThatAussieGuy in Blistered Thumbs. There, she hosted her blogs as well as her comics on The Chat Pack, who were a group of TGWTG.com bloggers who met on Skype through the on-site chat. The idea and name of the podcast, Transmission Awesome was pitched by Rollo and was accepted, with co-hosts and fellow TGWTG.com members HopeWithinChaos and Coldguy joining her.
Stand Up Act
On November 6th, 2009, All of TGWTG.com bore witness to RolloT's epic stand up act! It was so funny that the laughter could be heard for miles around. Every once in a while, new stand-up specials popped up.
