Doug: Hey guys, Doug Walker here, if you read the title above, this are the top 20 of my favorite TV shows. I know I'm pretentious, I know I can just keep it just top 10, I... TV was a big part of growing up for me, it was a big part for a lot of us, sadly, but, uh, so I'm gonna talk about the top 20, and, something to keep in mind, this are not like the most influential or the most inspiring TV shows, cause that's a different list, although a lot of them are here, uh, this are the ones I just love watching, i can just watch over and over and over, never get tired of them, they just... really really fill me up. So, uh, try to guess number 1, because my guess is that you're not gonna be able to get it, cause it's something I don't talk about it, I don't think I've ever talked about it in another video or show, uh, and, yeah, don't cheat by looking at the comments below, either, just see if you can get it, I'm betting that you're not gonna be able to get it, uh...so, anyway, why waste anymore time, let's go with the top 20 of my favorite TV shows.

20. Fawlty Towers - Doug thinks the episodes start off slow but eventually build up to some of the funniest farce you'll ever see.

19. Seinfeld - He loves this humor but does disagree with people when they say its a "show about nothing". Doug does do a video later on where he brings up how the real point of Seinfeld was to show "how a comedian gets his material"

18. Louie - Now THIS is the show about nothing!

17. The Twilight Zone

16. Monty Python's Flying Circus

15. Fox's Peter Pan & the Pirates - It's like if Miyazaki did a TV show.

14. In Living Color - It's SNL without the filler.

13. 3rd Rock from the Sun

12. Malcolm in the Middle - Up for MITM, Down with That 70's Show!

11. Animaniacs - It's Animaniacs

10. The Simpsons

9. South Park - People say The Simpsons has lost its charm over the years, but South Park hasn't.

8. Black Books

7. Roseanne

6. Black Adder

5. Cowboy Bebop/Wolf's Rain

4. Batman: The Animated Series

3. Red Dwarf

2. Home Movies- His childhood was exactly like this show.

#1. Daria - This is high school.

(NOTE: Since this list is over a decade old, Doug has made a few changes over the years. Since this video's release, he has marked Avatar: The Last Airbender, Gravity Falls, and BoJack Horseman as three more of his favorite shows, even stating the latter as possibly the greatest show in years and stated Avatar to be his favorite show of all time after finishing all of it in the "Avatar Aang" Avatar vlog)

(NOTE #2: He also once stated that Game of Thrones was one of his new favorite shows. This has likely changed due to his disappointment with the second half of the series.)

(NOTE #3: Doug has recently deemed Undone another one of his new favorite shows.)
